This article speaks about how women in India are often killed immediately after birth. It also talks about how they are mistreated and disrespected. This directly relates to the documentary we watched in class. One of their Dad’s admitted to repeatedly beating his daughter as well as forcing marriage upon her. It is very rare for women in India to have free will and their own career.
